CINCINNATI-The Southern Ohio Paranormals went into to disprove the myth of the old dent school house.  What they got was a handful of horror!  On July 1st, the group showed up to the old school and wasted no time in checking out the “boo factor” of the building.  The first thing they noted was the strange and drastic temperature changes that some of the rooms in the building were having. 

“The room went from 63 degrees Fahrenheit to 78 degrees in a heart beat.  This could be a ghostly occurrence,” said one of the investigators.

When they toured the building they were taking temperature readings, EVPS, and video recording.  They began with the first floor, travel down into the infamous “hells basement”, and then went to the upstairs of the building.

The biggest occurrence that was occurred had to be the happenings that occurred upstairs.  I was personally there to witness the events.  The lights on the top floor began to pulse in and out at a very slow rate.  The temperature began to go from 80 degrees Fahrenheit to 102 degrees in a seconds change.  The temperature kept up the radical changes until we left the upstairs.

Another bizarre event caused the paranormal team and myself to go quiet.  Sounds from the loft and bell tower were heard.  It sounded as if someone was walking above us.  The loft and bell tower must be reached with a ladder through a small cubby space in the stairwell of the building.  No one was up there!  The noises kept up for a good 30 minutes to an hour.

The group brought a psychic with them, as well.  He turned to me and said, “This house is definitely haunted.”

Findings:  I was able to talk to the investigators once they looked through all their footage and recordings.  The first finding was that of a ghost that seems to be “peeping around the corner” of the basement.  Maybe it was an old student playing hide-and-seek?

                The Second occurrence.  A strange fog/haze can be found over the top of the footage when the investigators were on the top floor.

                The Third piece of evidence found.  The lead investigator looked at me and said, “I have a question for you… Was there anyone in the basement’s corner room with us?”  I could tell by his voice that something was wrong.  I told him just the crew that he had brought and myself.  After telling him this he explained that “ a man in a jumpsuit with a push broom is seen in the corner looking up at the camera!”  I assure all the readers that this was no publicity stunt or man in make-up!  There was an actual person… maybe Charlie… standing in the corner as the camera was making its way through the room.

The paranormal group went to the dent school for a follow-up investigation on July 21st.  The group was smaller this time and they did their own private investigation.  I was not there for this investigation but the owners said, “They left very suddenly and we have not heard from them since.” I have tried to contact them repeatedly.   It may be that the group found more at the school house than they had bargained for.  I will say it once and I will say it again… That place is EVIL!
